In view of the changing global banking and finance environment and the advent new normal of Financial technology and the imminent of forth industrial revolution, the Department ambitions to advance knowledge in conventional banking and finance as well as Islamic Banking and Finance. Therefore, the Department desires to develop leaders with holistic characteristics that will be able to serve global community. However, in order to develop such leaders, we have to always engage with the key industrial players and collaborate with renowned Academic institutions. Hence, the key success factor is to align our areas of specialties taking into consideration the changing landscape of the local and global environment and advancements in technology.
